How does UV-C Antibacterial cleaning work?
Silverdrops 3-in-1 uses UV-C technology to clean your water and bottle from bacteria. >99,9% of bacteria will be removed after a 1-minute cleaning cycle.
The cleaning process is started by pressing a button on top of SilverLid. Silverlid has 2 modes of UV-C Antibacterial cleaning: Manual mode and Auto mode.
Are you sure that your UV-C Antibacterial cleaning reely works?
YES.
UV‑C light is a proven disinfection method used in critical environments such as water treatment plants, where it replaces chlorine to eliminate harmful microorganisms. UV‑C damages the DNA and RNA of bacteria, viruses, and other pathogens, making them unable to survive or reproduce.
Our products are also verified through independent third‑party laboratory testing, which confirms their effectiveness under controlled conditions.
Whats the difference between Manual mode and Auto mode?
In Manual mode the Silverlid performs a 1-minute UV-C Antibacterial cleaning to the water and the inner surface of the bottle and turns off.
In Auto mode the Silverlid™ performs an auto UV-C Anti-bacterial cleaning of the water and the inner surface of the bottle. The cleaning cycle runs for 10 seconds every 2 hours.
How do I charge SIlverLid?
SilverLid can be recharged via USB-C cable which is included in the box. It is located on top of the SilverLid - protected by a Rubber Lid.
What is the battery life time?
When fully charged SilverLid can run for >3weeks in Auto mode - longer in Manual mode.
SilverLid has a LED status indicator on top. When your battery is low, SilverLid will blink Orange before and after a cleaning cycle to warn you to charge the battery.
Does Silverdrops 3-in-1 remove particles like heavy metals, chlorine etc.?
No.
Silverdrops 3-in-1 does not contain a filter and therefor it does not remove particles/physical impurities from the water.

How do the UV‑C Antibacterial cleaning and the Filtration system work when travelling or hiking?
