Introduction:

Personal data we collect and process
When you interact with Silverdrops through various channels, including our websites, apps, retailers and customer support, we collect and process your personal data. The personal data that we collect and process can be categorized as follows:
1) Your personal information, such as your name, email address, physical address (if provided), phone number (if provided), IP address, in some cases geographic location and language.
2) Your purchase information, such as your personal information as specified above, company name (if provided), your delivery information, such as delivery address if different from physical address, your order information, such as product name, quantity, product name, quantity, purchase date and retailer information, your payment information, such as credit card or similar payment information and friend referral (if applicable).
3) Your usage information, such as your personal information as specified above, information regarding your Silverdrops products and social media login credentials (not the information in your social media profile.
4) Requests for customer support and technical assistance, containing your personal information, as specified above, product warranty information, place of purchase and other relevant information that Silverdrops may request to proceed with your request.
5) Your behavioral information collected through the use of cookies and similar technologies such as pixels, tags and other identifiers to remember your preferences, to understand how our websites and app are used and to customize our marketing offers.
How we use your personal data
We only collect and process personal data if at least one of the following purposes applies:
1) We provide you with customized information about news, events, competitions and similar marketing content related to Silverdrops, its products and products made in collaboration with third parties. Our processing in this regard will be based on your consent to this.
2) We handle your purchase orders, complete purchase transactions, ensure delivery of purchased products, handle any returns. Our processing is necessary for the performance of a contract to which you are a party.
3) We provide you with relevant product software updates and make your future purchases easier by remembering your shipping information. Our processing is necessary for the legitimate interests pursued by Silverdrops and such processing is not considered harmful to you.
4) We provide you with customer service, handle your requests or complaints and provide you with product warranty support. Our processing is necessary for the performance of a contract to which you are a party.
5) We ensure a better customer experience by providing you with personalized benefits, such as tailored offers based on previous purchases and possible friend referrals. Our processing in this regard will be based on your consent to this.
6) We provide you with a customized app user experience by allowing you to manage your (paired) Silverdrops products, by providing you with customized content on our app and with easier access to product user guides and warranty terms. Our processing in this regard will be based on your consent to this.
7) We perform analytics and statistics on the type, date and frequency of use of Silverdrops products in order to learn how our products are used, to improve the quality of our products and to develop new ones. Our processing is necessary for the purposes of the legitimate interests pursued by Silverdrops and such processing is not considered to be harmful to you.
8) We collect your feedback regarding your use of Silverdrops products and services by inviting you to complete surveys, questionnaires or feedback forms. Our processing in this regard will be based on your consent to do so.
Therefore, some of your personal data is collected and processed in order for us to fulfill our contractual obligations towards you, for example when you purchase our products, contact our customer support or make a warranty claim. If you choose not to provide us with the requested and necessary personal data in this regard, we may not be able to fully comply with your request.
How we store and process your personal data
As a general principle, your personal data is stored and processed within the European Economic Area (EEA). However, your personal data may be transferred outside the EEA between the entities of Silverdrops, between Silverdrops and its authorized dealers and certain types of third parties, as set out in Section 6 within the purposes for which your personal data was collected.
In the event of a transfer of your personal data to any third country, as defined in the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), applicable laws and regulations regarding such transfers are complied with and appropriate legal and security safeguards are ensured prior to such transfer.
Our Disclosure of Your Personal Data to Third Parties
As a general principle, we collect and process data to facilitate or improve Silverdrops's products, services or offerings. We do not sell your personal data or share said data with third parties, except to the extent stated in this Privacy Policy.
We may disclose your personal data to third parties to the extent required by law, court order or a decision made by a competent public authority and for law enforcement purposes. In addition, we may share your personal data with the following third parties:
1) Silverdrops companies and authorized Silverdrops dealers to provide products and services to you, to ensure a consistent level of service across our products and services, to improve our products, services and your customer experience.
2) Third-party vendors who perform services on our behalf, including billing, sales, marketing, IT support, advertising, analytics, research, customer service, product service support, shipping and purchase orders, data storage, validation, security, fraud prevention, payment processing and legal services. Such third-party vendors have access to perform these services, but are prohibited from using your personal data for any other purpose.
3) Third parties to establish, exercise or defend Silverdrops's legal rights.
4) Third parties in the event of a merger, sale, joint venture, assignment, transfer or other disposition of all or a portion of Silverdrops's assets or stock (including without limitation in connection with any bankruptcy or similar proceedings).
5) Other third parties are subject to your consent.
When we disclose your personal data to a third party, we take all reasonable steps to ensure that such third parties are bound by confidentiality and privacy obligations with regard to the protection of your personal data. The disclosure is made in accordance with legal requirements, including entering into data processing agreements with the relevant third parties, to ensure that personal data is only processed in accordance with our instructions, applicable laws and regulations and for the purposes specified by us and to ensure adequate security measures.
Retention of your personal data
We do not retain your information for longer than is necessary for the purposes for which it was collected. The length of time we retain information depends on the purposes for which we collected and use it.
Personal data related to your purchase and product warranty information is retained and processed for a period of three (3) years from the date of purchase, unless such data is lawfully processed for other purposes, such as providing you with personalized benefits or tailored direct marketing with your consent or to pursue our legal claims where the maintenance of such information is deemed necessary.
Personal data related to our provision of direct marketing to you will be retained and processed for a period of three (3) years from the date on which you last actively opened our marketing communications or otherwise indicated an interest in such communications.
Personal data related to your use of your Silverdrops products will be retained and processed for a period of five (5) years from the first day of use of the given product, unless such data is lawfully processed for other purposes, such as providing you with personalized benefits or tailored direct marketing following your consent or to pursue our legal claims where the maintenance of such information is deemed necessary.
Personal data related to our provision of personalized benefits to you will be retained and processed for a period of five (5) years from the date of your last purchase of the Silverdrops product. Personal data related to your feedback on our products and services will be retained and processed for a period of two (2) years from the date of completion of the given survey, questionnaire with feedback form.
Relevant personal data will be deleted after the expiry of the above periods, unless such data can be lawfully stored and processed for other processing purposes for which we have a legal basis.
Cookies
We use cookies and similar technologies such as pixels, tags and other identifiers to remember your preferences, to understand how our websites and apps are used and to personalize our marketing offers.

Silverdrops ApS, Mølleparken 24, 9520 Skørping, Denmark is the data controller and is responsible for the processing of your personal data.
Access to your personal data and data portability
You have the right to access and receive the personal data about you that you have provided to Silverdrops, in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format and have the right to transmit this data to any third party of your choice. Your personal data processed by Silverdrops can be accessed by contacting Silverdrops at info@Silverdrops.com
Updating and/or erasure of your personal data
We encourage you to update your personal data provided to Silverdrops whenever there are changes to your personal data.
To ensure that your personal data processed by us is up-to-date, we request that you check and, if applicable, update your personal data at least once a year.
Your personal data can be deleted from Silverdrops servers by contacting info@Silverdrops.com, unless Silverdrops is entitled or obliged under applicable law and regulations to store and process such information regardless of the withdrawal of your consent.
After deletion, your personal data will be deleted from Silverdrops's servers without undue delay, while it may take a period of two (2) months to ensure complete deletion of any information that may be stored in our backup.
You may also contact Silverdrops to review, update or delete personal data stored about you. For relevant contact details, please see section 19 below. Please note that before we access and make changes to your account, we must correctly verify your identity.
Right to withdraw your consent
Some of Silverdrops's processing activities may be based on your consent. In such cases, you have the right to withdraw your consent at any time. Withdrawal of your consent will not affect the lawfulness of the processing carried out before the withdrawal.
If you withdraw your consent, Silverdrops and third parties involved in the processing of personal data will cease to process your personal data, unless and to the extent that continued processing or storage is permitted or required by applicable personal data legislation or other applicable laws and regulations. . Please note that Silverdrops may not be able to comply with your requests or provide you with our services as a result of your withdrawal of your consent.
Right to restriction of processing and right to object
You have the right to restriction of processing of your personal data if the personal data are inaccurate, if the processing is unlawful, but you oppose the erasure of your personal data, if Silverdrops no longer needs your personal data for the purposes of the processing, but the storage of such data is requested by you to establish, exercise or defend legal claims, or if you have objected to processing and verification whether Silverdrops still has a legitimate interest in the given personal data is pending. You have the right to object at any time to the processing of your personal data collected and processed for the purposes of the legitimate interests pursued by Silverdrops, for example when we provide you with relevant product software updates, make your future purchases easier by remembering your shipping details, or when we perform analyses and statistics on your type, date and frequency of use of Silverdrops products. In addition, you have the right to object to the processing of your personal data for direct marketing purposes. You can do this by unsubscribing from our marketing information by clicking on the unsubscribe link at the bottom of marketing communications from Silverdrops.
Right to complain

We will acknowledge receipt of your complaint within five (5) business days. We will do our best to resolve it as soon as possible and within one (1) month from the date of the complaint. In the event that a response would require longer than one (1) month, we will notify you and inform you of the relevant reason(s).
If you are not satisfied with the outcome of your complaint or with the handling of your complaint by Silverdrops, you may refer your complaint to the Danish Data Protection Agency, Datatilsynet, Borgergade 28, 5., 1300 Copenhagen, Denmark or by sending an e-mail to dt@datatilsynet.dk.
Third-Party Websites, Plug-ins and Services
Silverdrops websites and products may contain links to third-party websites, plug-ins, for example, social media login plugins or services.
If you choose to use these websites, plug-ins or services, you may disclose your information to these third parties. Silverdrops is not responsible for the content or practices of these websites, plug-ins or services. The collection, use and disclosure of your personal data will be governed by the privacy policies of these third parties and not this Privacy Policy. We encourage you to read the privacy and security policies of the relevant third parties.
Data Security
Silverdrops is committed to protecting the security of your personal data. We use necessary organizational, technical and administrative measures to protect your personal data under the control of Silverdrops, such as controlling access, transmission, input and availability and segregating data.
Access to a number of online services at Silverdrops is protected by access restrictions based on username and password. It is important that you always choose a password that is difficult for others to guess and protects your password from disclosure.
Your personal information and your credit card details, if you have provided them to Silverdrops, will remain encrypted on Silverdrops's secure web servers. Credit card details will be sent to one or more approved and certified service providers and will not be retained for longer than it takes to process the data. All external transmissions of personal data facilitated by Silverdrops are protected by encryption.
All data storage and processing on Silverdrops's computer facilities as well as those of its partners are subject to written contracts.
If you have reason to believe that your interaction with Silverdrops is no longer secure (for example, if you feel that the security of an account you may have with Silverdrops has been compromised), please notify us of the problem immediately by contacting us. Changes to our Privacy Policy
Silverdrops may change or update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in Silverdrops products and services, changes in applicable laws, regulations or practices, and to address customer feedback. Therefore, please review it periodically. The date of the most recent update is always indicated at the bottom of the document.
